At Equivalent Engineering we believe that the privacy of our customers is very important.

Personal Information we collect

  • Financial data to take payment
  • Telephone conversations may be recorded for training and quality purposes
  • Our Bolney workshop is covered by CCTV recording

This information may be:

  • Given to us by you via, phone, email, website form, visiting our workshop
  • Given to us by an agency acting on your behalf such as Motability or one of their specialists in a car dealership

How we use personal information

We DO NOT sell, rent, lease, trade, swap or exchange personal information.

  • To deliver agreed products and services to you
  • For internal accounting and regulatory purposes
  • For statistical analysis to assess our business performance and to improve our products and services
  • To keep you informed of our products and services you might be interested in
  • To facilitate your use of our website and the services available through it

You can verify the details you have submitted to Equivalent Engineering by contacting our Data Protection Officer. Our security procedures mean that we may request proof of identity before we reveal information, including your email and home addresses.

You can also contact us by the same method to change, correct or delete your personal information controlled by Equivalent Engineering at any time.

How long do we keep your data for?

Equivalent Engineering will retain data for no longer than is necessary. Please note by exercising this right it is possible that Equivalent Engineering will no longer be able to provide its products and services to you. In such circumstances you would need to consider using another provider.
