Who we are
Driving independence for disabled people
At Ergomobility, our customers’ needs are at the heart of what we do, so we believe it is important to invest time in talking to a customer about their disability to understand how their condition impacts on their ability to drive or travel in a vehicle.
Our team are friendly, knowledgeable and always looking to find the right solutions for our customers, which is why we are recognised by many healthcare professionals as being one of the leading adaptations specialists in our field. We never compromise on quality and use only the best and most discreet adaptations on the market.
Trusted Motability partner
With over 20 years’ experience, Ergomobility are well established experts in the industry. We are trusted by over 600 Motability accredited car dealerships every year, to take care of their customers’ needs – and to provide them with the support and advice that they are looking for.
Because we are not affiliated with one particular product manufacturer we’re free to choose the best adaptations to suit your needs. We never compromise on quality and choose from the leading products on the market, based on their ability to make quality parts and build innovative adaptations that stand the test of time.
Mobile fitting service
Ergomobility have 4 fully equipped, high specification mobile workshops, operated by a team of experienced engineers. This means that we can travel to fit most adaptations at a customer’s home – or at their local car dealership.
Our mobile workshops are equipped with welders, grinders and cutting equipment, which means we can even undertake specialist fittings offsite, including wheelchair rooftop boxes and multiplex wiring for indicator switches.

We believe that our experience – and our approach to our customers’ needs – gives us a level of understanding and knowledge that is hard to find elsewhere in the industry. Because of this we are often able to devise solutions to complex problems, where people had previously thought there were none.
For complex work that cannot be completed offsite, we have 3 purpose-built workshops in West Sussex, with plenty of off-road, disabled access parking.
Assessments and Advice
We don’t just view our role as being vehicle adaptations specialists. The service we provide is part of a much wider picture, and for disabled drivers and passengers looking for advice on how to stay mobile, it can be daunting knowing where to begin.
We can advise our customers on a range of services, from driving assessments, to driving schools specialising in disabled drivers, to occupational therapy services.
For those customers who aren’t sure which adaptations are right for them, we also provide a free assessment service, where we look at the different options available and demonstrate how the different products work.
So if you are unsure where to begin, please do get in touch and talk to one of our team. We are here to help in any way we can.
